Alan Patricof

Alan J. Patricof is Managing Director of Greycroft, LLC, a venture capital firm he founded in 2006.  Previously, he served as Chairman of Patricof & Co. Ventures, which later became Apax Partners, Inc., a company he founded in 1970 which is now one of the world’s leading private equity firms.   Mr. Patricof served two terms as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Millennium Challenge Corporation from 2007 to 2012.  From 1993 to 1995, he also served as Chairman of the White House Conference on Small Business Commission.  He was a board member of TechnoServe, Trickle Up Program, the Global Advisory Board of Endeavor, and the Initiative for Global Development Leadership Council.  He currently sits on the board of Boston Properties, Inc. (NYSE:BXP).  Mr. Patricof received a B.S. in Finance from Ohio State University and an M.B.A. from Columbia University Graduate School of Business.
