Kelly McMillin began his law enforcement career in 1984. He is currently a Deputy Chief of Police at the Salinas, California Police Department, commanding the Field Operations Division. Kelly directs the department’s Ceasefire strategy and is the police department’s representative to the California Cities Gang Prevention Network and the National Forum for Youth Violence Prevention.
Kelly has earned an Associates Degree from Hartnell College, a BA from Saint Mary's College of California and a Master of Public Policy from the Panetta Institute at California State University Monterey Bay. He is a 2003 graduate of the 213th session of the FBI National Academy at Quantico, Virginia.
