Cherelyn Homlish has worked in the field of domestic violence for over 20 years. She is presently the Associate Director of Domestic Violence Services at People’s Place and supervises three domestic violence programs. She has a master’s degree in social work. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Delaware and certified by the National Association of Social Workers. Ms. Homlish was employed by the Navy for three years in Hawaii in the area of domestic violence and child abuse. She began working at People’s Place in 1994 as the Program Director of Turning Point, an intervention program for domestic violence offenders, survivors and their children. She has conducted domestic violence and child abuse workshops for the courts, the clergy, probation officers, the Division of Family Services, colleges, and others in the community. Ms. Homlish is the chair of the Delaware Coalition Against Domestic Violence. Ms. Homlish teaches at Wilmington University as Adjunct Faculty.
