Waldo Jaquith, a Web site developer, political pundit and currently the Web Developer at The Miller Center of Public Affairs at the University of Virginia, is an open government activist. He runs a community news blog about Charlottesville and developed Richmond Sunlight – a non-partisan, volunteer-run Web site that keeps track of the happenings in the Virginia State Assembly. Richmond Sunlight allows users to follow legislation, watch video of floor action and even vote on what they’d like to see in a bill.
