Jury has been an AIDS advocate since 1995. He is currently the Director of Asian Pacific AIDS Intervention Team (APAIT) in Los Angeles which provides HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment, research, training and advocacy primarily for the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community. He was named a Local Hero by the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) affiliate, KCET, in 2010. Outside of the AIDS arena, Jury is passionate about advocacy efforts on behalf of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities and the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) communities. He currently serves on the Board of Directors as Treasurer for the California-state Asian Pacific Islanders Community Action Network / APIs CAN.
