While Hadiyah Charles has an overall interest in health and wellness, she is especially committed to working on the integration of sexual and reproductive health and HIV policies, services, treatment and care. Ms. Charles has over ten years of experience working with people infected and affected by HIV. As an advocate and grassroots activist, Ms. Charles has worked closely and extensively with HIV positive women, their families, and their communities. She has spearheaded a number of important initiatives, including intensive advocacy and media trainings for positive women. Ms. Charles is an advisory board member of The Center of HIV Law and Policy, and committed personally and professionally to fighting human right injustices faced by all people. She holds a Bachelors of Arts in Accounting from the University of the Virgin Islands. Hadiyah is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Women's Health at Suffolk University.
