Sherlynn Aurelio, Achievement Specialist/Reading Specialist, EastSide Charter School.
Sherlynn has 16 years of teaching experience and is passionate about closing the achievement gap. She works in an urban school with one of the highest percentages of students receiving free and reduced lunch in Delaware. Working with pre-K through 8th graders, she has seen how early detection of development delays and early intervention is vital to her students' future success. She has been an active participant in the Rodel Foundation's Teacher Network Leadership Institute over the past four years and is a member of the Delaware Early Childhood Council. She previously served on the Red Clay School District School Board.
