Lisa Mills, Speech Language Pathologist, Barstow Elementary School. Lisa has been a Speech Language Pathologist for more than 17 years andcurrently works at Barstow Elementary School in southern Maryland. She has worked in public school systems across the country primarily with low-income students. Lisa has pursued her passion for promoting teaching as an iconic profession and promoting education reform as a Teacher Leader with Hope Street Group, where she led one of the teams that developed a set of recommendations by teachers for teacher evaluation reform. She recently represented Hope Street Group at a middle school event featuring President Obama and Secretary Duncan.
