Eric Kehn, Middle School Math Teacher and Instructional Coach, Central Middle School. Eric Kehn was Louisiana's 2010 Regional Teacher of the Year. He is an instructional coach at Central Middle School, Ascension Parish, Louisiana. He received a B.S. in Secondary Education from Baylor University and a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Southern University in Baton Rouge. He is currently working on his Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from the University of Louisiana Lafayette. He is active in professional organizations, including Hope Street Group, the Associated Professional Educators of Louisiana, and the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development. He has worked on various district and state committees regarding curriculum and assessments. Currently, he serves on the Louisiana Advisory Committee on Educator Evaluation to develop recommendations for the state Board of Education regarding various components of state value-added testing.
