Statement from Acting Director Botticelli on Veterans Day

This Veterans Day, on behalf of the entire staff at the Office of National Drug Control Policy, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to our Nation’s veterans for their service. It is important, especially today, to recognize the sacrifices made by our Armed Forces and their families. Thanks to the courage and dedication of these selfless men and women, valued American freedoms are protected.

We are forever indebted to veterans for their sacrifice. Today, I join President Obama, Vice President Biden, the First Lady and Dr. Biden in honoring our Nation’s bravest and expressing my deepest gratitude for veterans’ commitment to safeguarding the liberties that make America exceptional.
