Core Financial System Requirements Exposure Draft

The new Core Financial System Requirements Exposure Draft (645 kb) is available for review and comment by federal agency and industry partners. The new document updates the (former JFMIP) 2001 document to reflect new changes and clarify requirements. By May 6, 2005, please submit comments to stephen.balsam@gsa.gov using the companion document, the Core Financial System Requirements Draft Workbook (Excel). Both documents are available for download, by clicking on their respective titles, above. Please enter comments in column M, "Reviewer Comments", in the spreadsheet row associated with the commented requirement. Also enter your contact information in the top two rows, and rename the workbook to identify your organization. Examples of comments would be rewording of text, addition of examples, moving requirements to a different core process, etc. The file entitled Core Reqirement Updates, Description of Requirement Spreadsheets provides some additional information about the format of the Exposure Draft Excel spreadsheets that reviewers may find informative. Comments received will be reviewed and the exposure draft will be revised as appropriate. If you have any questions, please contact Steve Balsam at 202-219-0531.
