Organizer for Developers for Good
Theresa Freet currently organizes Developers for Good, a community of technologists volunteering their skills on technology projects for nonprofit organizations. She also manages the social impact projects for CodeMontage, which brings underrepresented groups into the highest ranks of software engineering through meaningful training. She is constantly thinking about how to get and encourage more technology in the nonprofit sector, and the specific organizations she works with. She has particular passions for food justice and tech education. In addition to her work with Developers for Good, Theresa organizes volunteers and volunteers with the Brooklyn Food Coalition, SHFT Mobile Kitchen Classroom, and Seeds in the Middle in New York City.
