Kristin Lee
Kristin Lee serves as Communications Director and Senior Policy Advisor at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. In this role, Lee oversees communications and public affairs regarding the Obama Administration’s technology, science, and innovation efforts. She also works closely with the President’s Science Advisor and the U.S. Chief Technology Officer.
Prior to joining the White House in 2014, Lee served in the tech sector, in the President’s first term at the Department of Homeland Security, on presidential campaigns, at nonprofits, and in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives. A California native, Lee earned her bachelor's degree in journalism and literature from the University of California at Santa Cruz. She holds a Master’s Degree in political communication from Johns Hopkins.
