Ginette Magaña
Ginette Magaña is a Senior Associate Director in the White House Office of Public Engagement. In this role she is the White House’s primary liaison to the Latino community and on immigration related issues. She comes to the White House from the Department of Homeland Security, where she served as the Deputy Press Secretary for the Department. Prior to her role in the Administration, Magaña worked to create access to health care for those who need it most through her roles at Enroll America and Central Health. Previously, Ms. Magaña oversaw women’s outreach for the 2013 Presidential Inauguration Committee and served in numerous leadership roles on various campaigns, including the 2012 Presidential campaign. Before that, she worked for the U.S. House of Representatives serving in outreach and press roles for Representative Harry Teague, Representative Charlie Gonzalez, and Representative Ciro Rodriguez. Throughout her career Ms. Magaña has worked to engage and mobilize the public around key issues of importance to the Latino community.
