As the "Lead on Leave" tour wraps up, we have some news to share on the progress made on paid leave. Join us this Monday, June 15, from 3-3:45 p.m. ET for a Google+ Hangout with Secretary Perez, Senior Advisor to the President Valerie Jarrett, YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki, Executive Director of MomsRising Kristin Rowe-Finkbeiner, and Molly Moon Neitzel, a small business owner in Seattle. During the conversation, they’ll share an important announcement and updates on the action taking placing across the country to help more working families succeed.
In the meantime, submit your questions here or send us a tweet using #LeadOnLeave. On Monday, watch live here or at dol.gov/live.
Since last fall, millions of people have watched our video highlighting the need for paid leave and thousands have written to us with their stories of how paid family or sick leave benefited – or could have benefited – their family.
Over the past few months, senior administration officials — including Secretary Perez and Valerie Jarrett — have hit the road to meet some of the people who wrote in and to highlight communities and businesses taking action on paid leave.
