West Wing Week: 03/20/2015 or, “See ya, Sparkle!”

This week, the President dropped by the new home of a wounded warrior, met with some impressive Youth of the Year winners, celebrated St. Patrick's Day, hosted the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall, and discussed Middle Class Economics in Ohio. That's March 13 to March 19th or, "See Ya, Sparkle!"

Friday, March 13^th

• On Friday, the President traveled to Phoenix to visit a VA medical facility and hear directly from veterans during a roundtable discussion.
• The President surprised Sergeant First Class Cory Remsburg and congratulated him on his new home.

Monday, March 16^th

• The President met with superintendents and school leaders from across the country.
• The President spent some time with the Boys and Girls Club Youth of the Year finalists.

Tuesday, March 17^th

• The President welcomed the Taoiseach of Ireland, Enda Kenny.
• The President and Vice President went to the Capitol to attend a St. Patrick’s Day luncheon.
• The President took a stab at an NCAA March Madness bracket.
• The President hosted a reception to celebrate his seventh St. Patrick’s Day at the White House.

Wednesday, March 18^th

• The President traveled to Cleveland, Ohio and toured the impressive innovations at MAGNET.
• The President hosted a Town Hall at the City Club of Cleveland.

Thursday March 19^th

• The President got to see the solar panels on the roof of the Department of Energy.
• The President hosted The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall in the Oval Office.
