We’re always looking for new ways to open the White House and engage with citizens online. And that's why today we’re excited to kick off "Of the People: Live from the White House," a virtual field trip series with Discovery Education that’s designed to offer middle and high school students unique access to the White House.
The program launches with a special look at the art and history of the White House featuring curator William Allman. Students joining virtually from classrooms across the country will have the chance to explore the art and history of the iconic building that has served as the primary residence for 42 of our nation’s presidents and their families for 213 years.
You can tune-in today at 1:00 p.m. ET -- and watch upcoming installments in this series -- on Discovery Education’s website. In the coming months, webinars will address topics that range from community service to climate change and from foreign policy to science and technology. A complete archive of all virtual field trip sessions will be hosted on www.discoveryeducation.com.
