Here’s What You Had to Say…

Summary:
We love to hear from you, our readers, about our blog postings, the activities we are doing and whether this information has been beneficial or insightful. On a regular basis we will highlight the comments you submit to the White House Partnerships email or to any of the 12 Centers for Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships. So let us know what you loved, what you didn’t and how we can make our blogs and websites better for you, our readers.

The White House Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships and its twelve Centers strive to keep you updated on what is happening in our office.  On a daily basis we have hundreds of citizens and organizations reading our blog postings, updates, activities and grant opportunities.  Many of you write in to clarify information or to comment about something you read on our websites and blog.  Now we’d like to highlight our most important partner: YOU!  Here is what a few of you had to say and please know that even if we are not able to respond to you directly that we are reading your comments.  Please keep submitting comments and let us know what was good, bad, helpful, informative, and how we can better serve you.

Department of Justice:

“Thank you for the support, guidance, recommendations and ideas.  I am so grateful that we have connected with you.”  Christine J.

USDA:

“I appreciate the info that you’ve sent out on the President’s anti-hunger initiative.”
Jennifer N., Washington, DC

“We are indeed very interested and will appreciate catching up with the new venture as it unfolds. The Church of the Brethren too is in process of reviewing how to connect our thousand congregations more closely to local hunger action.  Hence, Feed a Neighbor is of vital interest to us. We are most eager to relate our efforts to yours as is appropriate. I am also deeply interested in learning more about the volunteer toolkit you have created.”
Howard R., Elgin, IL

“I hope you are flying high, you orchestrated an amazing opportunity for the faith based and community groups to share our support and what we are committed to do on behalf of the Let's Move Faith based and community groups!...Personally, I feel grateful for the work I am able to do and the ability to make a difference.”
Cippi H., New York, NY

WH Partnerships:

“I just wanted to thank the White House and specifically Michelle Obama for all of her hard work with childhood obesity.  I am a WIC nutritionist and childhood obesity is something I see too often.  Thank you again for your hard work!”

              Thank you
              Dennis A.
